Michigan athletics' three primary sports have their new flagship radio station.
Learfield’s Michigan Sports Properties in partnership with Beasley Media Group Detroit, announced a multi-year broadcast agreement that will make WCSX-FM (94.7) the new flagship radio home for the Wolverines on Wednesday.
The agreement takes effect at the start of the 2025 football season with WCSX-FM scheduled to broadcast all Michigan football, men’s basketball, and ice hockey games as well as the affiliated coaches’ shows and some "exclusive ancillary programming," according to a press release.
Play-by-play voice Doug Karsch and color commentator Jon Jansen will remain as the voices of Michigan football.
