A minute before jumping into the pool in search of another gold medal, Michael Phelps ripped his swim cap.
It didn't matter. Phelps, wearing a teammate's cap, swam the anchor leg of the men's 4 x 200-meter freestyle relay and brought home his second gold medal of the night.

Phelps, Ryan Lochte and the U.S. beat Great Britain by about three seconds.
About an hour before, Phelps won gold in the 200-meter butterfly.
