The celebration of life for Kobe and Gianna Bryant was emotional. While most of the speakers in the first two hours of the memorial at Staples Center were able to get through their speeches, fellow NBA great Michael Jordan teared up almost immediately.
And he made light of it.
“Now he’s got me, I’m going to have to look at another crying meme for the next —” Jordan said, tears in standing out clearly on his face. “ ... I told my wife I wasn’t going to do this ’cuz I didn’t want to see that for the next three or four years.
