The Mavericks have reinstated the media credentials of ESPN’s Marc Stein and Tim MacMahon, SI.com reported.
Mavericks owner Mark Cuban last week banned the writers from the team’s home games in response to ESPN’s decision to have MacMahon cover the entire NBA rather than focus on the Mavs. Cuban said the decision was in protest of the trend of media outlets providing automated coverage of certain sports, logic that confounded many sports media observers.
