Maurice Clarett gets probation after pleading guility to DUI

Former Ohio State star Maurice Clarett has been sentenced to two years' probation after pleading guilty to driving under the influence.

Clarett initially pleaded not guilty to the charge stemming from a Jan. 3 traffic stop in Morrow County, Ohio, but reached a plea deal that included a suspended 60-day jail sentence. Court records show Clarett's license also has been suspended through July 6 and he paid $400 in fines.

The 32-year-old was pulled over by police for failing to signal a lane change after the Ohio State Patrol received calls complaining of an erratic driver.
