Winner Matt Kenseth and his Joe Gibbs Racing team have been penalized for failing post-race inspection last Sunday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
Kenseth led twice for 38 laps in his second of the season. After the race, his car failed the post-race laser inspection station measurements.

As a result, crew chief Jason Ratcliff was fined $25,000. Kenseth and the team were docked 15 driver and 15 owner points in the championship race. Because of the lost points, Kenseth enters Indianapolis in ninth place in Chase for the Sprint Cup standings, falling one spot.
