The Massachusetts attorney general on Thursday proposed regulations for daily fantasy sports companies to operate in the state. They aim to level the playing field among participants and provide more transparency on how the games work.
“These regulations are a first of their kind for the daily fantasy sports industry and they focus on protecting minors, ensuring truthful advertising, bringing more transparency to the industry and leveling the playing field for all consumers,” the attorney general, Maura Healey, said in a statement.
She offered a more tempered opinion of the games than her counterpart in New York, Eric T.
