Martin Truex Jr. wins pole position at Kansas

Martin Truex Jr. is hoping this year he'll be the bug instead of the windshield.

Following some rough outings at Kansas Speedway, Truex was the top qualifier Friday to grab the pole position for Saturday night's GoBowling 400.

"It kind of took us while to figure out this three-round deal," Truex told Fox Sports. "Things have been going well and really clicking for us. Hopefully we'll have something to celebrate."

Matt Kenseth will join Truex on the front row, with Denny Hamlin and Kurt Busch in Row 2.
