Marlins owner Jeffrey Loria made a cool gesture Tuesday, awarding his second baseman Dee Gordon a diamond pendant for winning last season's National League batting title.
Gordon led the NL with a .333 batting average in 145 games during his first season the Marlins. He also scored 88 runs and stole 58 bases.

After struggling to find an everyday place in the Dodgers' lineup, Gordon has quickly become one of the premier players in MLB after getting traded to Miami before last season.
