Mark Richt faces first test after two Miami players arrested

Miami offensive linemen Trevor Darling and Jahair Jones were arrested Wednesday night before 10 p.m. and charged with resisting arrest without violence, Miami-Dade County public records show.

The two players were each being held on a $1,000 bond.

According to the Miami Herald, the two players were standing in the road at Miami Beach "impeding traffic and placed themselves in a dangerous situations." When asked to move, they did not.

The arrests are the first under new Hurricanes coach Mark Richt, who utilized one of the toughest punishment policies while coaching at Georgia.
