Former NFL quarterback Marcus Vick has been sentenced to one year in jail, 11 months suspended, as part of a plea deal for an incident in which he allegedly assaulted a police officer.
TMZ reported Vick pleaded guilty to a charge of resisting arrest in exchange for having the other charges dropped. He was originally charged with felony assault on a police officer, resisting arrest and obstruction of justice after an April incident in Newport News, Virginia.
