The Tennessee Titans have had a rough season, winning just two of their first 10 games, but quarterback Marcus Mariota has been a bright spot.
The second overall pick in the 2015 NFL draft, Mariota needed 205 yards Thursday to become the franchise's second rookie to throw for 2,000 yards in a season, per Jim Wyatt of Titans Online.
He accomplished the feat in just eight games after missing two with a sprained MCL earlier in the season.
Mariota passed the mark in the fourth quarter, finishing with 231 yards, and now is just 173 yards shy of Vince Young's team rookie mark of 2,199 set in 2006.
