Manny Pacquiao has confirmed that he will come back to boxing on Nov. 5 in Las Vegas when he takes on WBO welterweight champion Jesse Vargas at the Thomas and Mack Center.
Pacquiao announced his retirement after defeating Timothy Bradley on April 9, but that retirement was short-lived as the Filipino senator could not stay away from the sport that made him a global icon.
"Yes, the fight is on. I have agreed to a Nov. 5 fight with reigning WBO welterweight champion Jessie Vargas," Pacquiao told ESPN's Dan Rafael. "Boxing is my passion. I miss what I'd been doing inside the gym and atop the ring.
