Manchester City U15s are in cloud nine after thrashing their arch rival Manchester United 9-0 in the Floodlit Cup – for the second year in a row.
The grandsons of City legends Mike Doyle and Glyn Pardoe played a pivotal part as the young Blues’ continued their fine form.
Tommy Doyle was involved in five goals as his side ran riot against their local rivals on Tuesday night.
City’s youths are defending champions in the Floodlit Cup after beating West Brom 4-1 in last season's final in April following the thrashing of United in an earlier round.
