It's no secret that Canadians love their hockey, but a recent crime in Manitoba stretches the bounds of that passion.
Police are looking for two men who stole cases of beer from a closed store in the town of Russell. The description for one man probably won't help — he was wearing a hockey goalie's uniform. The Ottawa Citizen reports the crook had a No. 17 jersey, trapper mitt, a blocker pad, and he carried a goalie stick, even as he fled the store with his stolen beer.
