Police in Virginia have charged the man they say drove into a crowd Sunday at Martinsville Speedway with reckless driving in the incident that injured 22 people, WDBJ reported Monday.
Pending consultation with Henry County Commonwealth’s Attorney Andrew Nester, more charges could be forthcoming, state police say.

The man — who has not been identified publicly by police — appeared before a magistrate late Sunday night. He was charged with reckless driving and his bond was set at $7,500.
