New York Giants rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers discussed his LSU connection with Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels ahead of a Week 2 matchup between the two teams.
"Without him, I probably wouldn't be here right now, so having that guy as my quarterback, it took a lot of stress off me, so I took a lot of stress off him too getting open," Nabers told reporters on Thursday (h/t Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk). "But we're in a different space right now, but it's still the same game."
Nabers and Daniels were teammates at LSU in 2022 and 2023, as the school finished with a record of 20-7 in their two seasons together.
