Madison Bumgarner has blossomed into one of the best pitchers in all of Major League Baseball. On Sunday night, he cemented the Giants as World Series contenders with a 4-0 one-hitter against the Diamondbacks.
In a 4-0 victory against Arizona, Bumgarner sealed the Giants' first half record at 57-33, and an 8-2 record in San Francisco's last 10. The Giants enter the All-Star break with the best record in all of MLB.
Bumgarner was voted as an All-Star, but won't be making an appearance due to his start on Sunday night. His final line: complete game, one hit, no runs allowed, 14 strikeouts.
