Lukas Podolski has topped a chart this week, and it’s quite an unexpected one.
Known for his goalscoring prowess, it is not the 31-year-old’s efforts on the football field that have him perched in the number one spot.
The former Arsenal forward has just three efforts to his name for Galatasaray this season, so there is certainly work to be done on that front.
He has, however, been creating quite a stir in music circles.
Teaming up with rappers Mo-Torres and the band Cat Ballou, Podolski can now lay claim to being part of the most downloaded song in Germany over the past seven days - ‘Liebe deine Stadt’ (‘Love Your City’).
