The Los Angeles Lakers had several deficiencies in their 123-116 loss to the Golden State Warriors on Thursday. One of them was their inability to consistently hit shots, especially from the perimeter, through the first three quarters.
Arguably the biggest culprit in that department was Luka Doncic. He shot 3-of-11 in the first half and went 6-of-17 overall while missing all six of his 3-point attempts. When he wasn't throwing up bricks from the outside, he was surrounded by multiple Warriors defenders once he made his way into the paint.
After the game, Doncic seemed to hold himself accountable for his poor performance.
