LSU lost its mascot, Mike the Tiger, this week after the Bengali-Siberian cat died of cancer.
When the Tigers (3-2) take the field Saturday against Southern Miss (4-2), the players will have a Mike VI decal on the back of their helmets.

The school revealed the decal in a Thursday evening tweet.

Mike, who was 11, was diagnosed with spindle cell sarcoma in May.
