LSU is trying to save face. It lifted a controversial policy Wednesday that banned halftime performances from visiting marching bands at Tiger Stadium while the Tiger Band's field time was left untouched.

The ban was originally put in place for saftey and spacial reasons, but after receiving backlash, LSU found a way to make it work without the policy. The school's new plan involves the reconfiguration of the South end zone seating in order to give the visiting band a more direct route to the field.
