After sweeping Mississippi State, LSU baseball wanted to carry that success into Tuesday night's game against Louisiana Tech. LSU did that as they scored 12 runs to beat the Bulldogs.

In the bottom of the first inning, LSU's bats picked up right where they left off on Saturday night. LSU scored four runs as Danny Dickinson hit an RBI double, Ethan Frey hit a sacrifice fly, and Cade Arrambide hit a two-RBI single to give LSU a 4-0 lead.

William Schmidt got the start on the mound and the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs were able to score a run on him in the top of the second inning to cut the lead to 4-1.
