The Los Angeles Rams’ 26-20 N.F.C. championship game win Sunday over the New Orleans Saints did not come without controversy, that’s for sure. A missed pass interference call late in the fourth quarter will be talked about for a long time in New Orleans.
But the Saints had other chances to put Los Angeles away after such a dominant first quarter. The Rams completely obliterated New Orleans’ rushing game and held the Saints’ top receiver, Michael Thomas, to only four catches. Alvin Kamara was targeted 13 times but didn’t have a catch go for more than 21 yards.
