Former Temple defensive end Shahid Paulhill is suing the Lions for $25,000.
The lawsuit stems from an injury he suffered when a piece of metal piping fell from Ford Field and hit him in the head during a 2014 super regional combine, the Detroit Free Press reported Wednesday.
Paulhill says he was struck by "a section of tubular metal approximately 2 feet in length” that rolled off a wall and landed on his head while he was stretching.
