The Detroit Lions are not changing their underdog mentality after one successful season.
The Lions were involved in multiple altercations with the New York Giants during joint practices last week. This resulted in $200,000 in fines for each team.
During Sunday's press conference, defensive lineman Levi Onwuzurike said the fights showed how the Lions are still gritty and understand that nothing in the NFL is ever "easy."
"Even though we made it as far as we did, we're still the gritty Detroit Lions," Onwuzurike said, per Eric Woodyard of ESPN.
