Like Mike or Bryce? Carlos Correa's fast start stirs up comparisons

Astros shortstop Carlos Correa is off to a monster start. Last season’s American League Rookie of the Year has hit two singles and crushed three home runs in 13 at bats, including a grand slam in Houston’s losing effort on Wednesday against the Yankees. He’s also swiped two stolen bases and played solid defense. Not a bad way to follow up a .279/.346/.512 debut slash line.

Correa’s three home runs in New York give him 25 for his career in only 101 games, the fastest home run clip for any shortstop in major league history. It took Nomar Garciaparra 134 games to reach that milestone.
