Kevin Durant was named the NBA's MVP in 2014 and dedicated much of his speech to his mother, Wanda Pratt, who he called "the real MVP."
Now Pratt will have a chance to share her story in an upcoming Lifetime movie titled "The Real MVP: The Wanda Pratt Story," according to Deadline Hollywood.
MORE: Durant actually doesn't hate the media
The movie will focus on the struggles and sacrifices Pratt made to raise Durant and his three siblings.
The film has already began production and will air on the Lifetime Channel on May 8, which appropriately is Mother's Day.
