Gabby Douglas stands up straight and folds her hands during the national anthem. It's a completely reasonable, acceptable thing to do, and yet here we are, 24 hours after the fact, still talking about it.
Douglas, one-fifth of the United States' latest gold-medal gymnastics steamroller, didn't put her hand over her heart after the team competition. Because it's not a rule. Because it's just as respectful to do as she did.
