Matthew McConaughey is a Texas grad, friends with Mack Brown and has dropped in to visit Charlie Strong at practice to speak to the Longhorns in 2014. His ties to the football program date back to his time as a student and have been strong, so his recent move to the faculty side of things at UT comes as no surprise.
That's right, Professor McConaughey was introduced by the school this week.
