LeSean McCoy's role in the Kansas City Chiefs' offense is primed to keep expanding with starting running back Damien Williams exiting the team's Monday night matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers in the second quarter due to a rib injury and ultimately being ruled out.
LeSean McCoy took over as the Chiefs' primary back as a result, which means his fantasy value could also uptick.
Williams was previously ruled out for Weeks 3 and 4 with a knee injury. In the Chiefs' Week 3 33-28 win over the Baltimore Ravens, McCoy played through an ankle injury and tallied eight carries for 54 yards and a touchdown paired with three catches for 26 yards and a touchdown.
