Linebacker Leighton Vander Esch and the Dallas Cowboys came to terms on a four-year, $11.847 million rookie contract Friday.
Clarence Hill Jr. of the Star-Telegram reported the contract details, adding that the rookie will receive a $6.696 million signing bonus.
The Cowboys selected Vander Esch with the No. 19 overall pick in the 2018 NFL draft out of Boise State.
Vander Esch entered the first-round conversation after a dominant junior season with the Broncos that saw him register 141 tackles, 4.0 sacks, four forced fumbles and two interceptions.
