The Leeds United Foundation are currently running a local book drive alongside The Children’s Book Project, with the aim of collecting over 3,000 books that can be redistributed to young people throughout the city.
The club’s official charity has a total of five ‘book bins’ located at different venues for supporters and people in the local community to donate the books they no longer need.
The locations of the various 'book bins' are as follows:
- Leeds United Retail Store at Elland Road Stadium
- Leeds United Retail Store at White Rose Shopping Centre
- Leeds United Retail Store at Trinity Leeds
- CATCH Leeds
- Holbeck Together
Ahead of World Book Day (Thursday 6th March), the Foundation will look to use all of the books donated to host five bookstores in five local primary schools, with each child being able to take home their own book.
