LeBron James is expected to be sidelined for one to two weeks with a groin strain suffered in Saturday night's marquee matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics. He will be reevaluated after the injury relaxes for 24 hours, ESPN's Shams Charania reports.
James sustained the groin injury midway through the fourth quarter during Saturday's game. He left after apparently overextending while pivoting in the lane for a shot over Jaylen Brown and was ruled out for the remainder of the contest.
He finished with 22 points, 14 rebounds and nine assists in the Lakers' 111-101 loss.
