LeBron James asked for help from his social media followers on Wednesday to solve the shooting death of an Akron, Ohio, woman.
Ericka Weems, 37, was shot dead in her Akron home, according to police. Her family found her with a gunshot wound to her head in her bedroom around 3 p.m. on Monday. Authorities ruled her death a homicide.
James made the following plea Wednesday afternoon on Twitter and Facebook:
AKRON OHIO!! My brother’s sister was murdered this past weekend in her home! My brother family need answers to why and by whom.
