After another SEC weekend sweep, LSU took a trip to Thibodaux, Louisiana to take on the Nicholls Colonels. A five-run seventh inning lifted LSU to victory on Tuesday night as LSU won 5-3.
Conner Ware got the start on the mound for the Tigers. He worked three full innings and only allowed one run on two hits, zero strikeouts, and one walk.
A throwing error by the pitcher led to the unearned run, making it 1-0 Nicholls. In the bottom of the fourth inning, Jaden Noot entered the game to pitch for LSU. After retiring the first two hitters he faced, the Colonels got a single and a walk to put two runners on base before a bases-clearing double made it 3-0 Nicholls.
