The Old School showed they’ve still got it in Eugene, and now they are headed to Rio.
LaShawn Merritt and Allyson Felix showed that they can still hang with the youngsters on Sunday, as the 30-year-old runners won the men’s and women’s 400 meter at the U.S. Olympic Trials, earning a trip to the 2016 Olympics.
Both Felix and Merritt ran the fastest times in the world this year in their races.

Felix ran 49.68, holding off Phyllis Francis and Natasha Hastings to earn her fourth-straight Olympic berth.
