Gamblers will now be able to have a little extra invested in the 2017 NFL draft as Las Vegas sportsbooks were granted approval to accept certain wagers on the prospect extravaganza.
Per Todd Dewey of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the Nevada Gaming Control Board approved a measure to accept prop bets on the draft.
Because the board only approved prop bets, Dewey noted bettors can't wager on specific players being drafted. For instance, they won't be allowed to bet on Myles Garrett being selected first overall by the Cleveland Browns.
