Las Vegas is the new L.A. in NFL's game of stadium roulette

It's awfully ironic seeing Rams owner Stan Kroenke profess his support for Oakland as an NFL market, telling Sporting News he’d rather see the Raiders stay where they are than continue their dance with Las Vegas.

After all, Las Vegas is the new Los Angeles. Even without a stadium, or even a shovel stuck in the ground to start building one, it’s becoming the owners’ favorite town. Jerry Jones is on board. So is Robert Kraft. They may or may not care much about Vegas itself … but they absolutely love what it represents.
