The Los Angeles Lakers are making another move ahead of the trade deadline.
The Lakers struck a deal to send rookie Dalton Knecht and Cam Reddish to the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday night, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania. In exchange, they’ll get center Mark Williams. The Lakers also sent Charlotte an unprotected future first-round draft pick and a 2030 pick swap.
The trade came just days after the stunning deal that sent center Anthony Davis to the Dallas Mavericks in exchange for star Luka Donu010diu0107. Williams can now, in theory, fill the gap that Davis left in the Lakers’ lineup.
