Lakers guard Rajon Rondo suffers fractured thumb, out 6-to-8 weeks ahead of Orlando restart

Los Angeles Lakers point guard Rajon Rondo suffered a fractured right thumb during practice at Walt Disney World near Orlando, Florida on Sunday, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania.

Rondo is expected to undergo surgery in the coming days, and will miss six-to-eight weeks.
