No. 4 Tennessee (36-9, 11-6 SEC) defeated Auburn (27-19, 4-16 SEC), 6-4, Friday at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium.
With the victory, the Lady Vols clinched a SEC series win against Auburn. Tennessee came from behind for a second consecutive game in the series, as Auburn scored in the first inning, taking a 1-0 lead.
The Lady Vols tied the game in the first inning after Laura Mealer hit a RBI single. Tennessee led, 6-1, in the second inning after Sophia Nugent hit a three-run home run, and Saviya Morgan hit a RBI triple.
