Kyle Shanahan Says 49ers Started Preparing for Packers in 2Q of Cowboys Playoff Game

San Francisco 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan did not wait long to start preparing for the Green Bay Packers.

Shanahan revealed he and his staff began focusing their efforts on the Packers midway through the second quarter of Green Bay's blowout win over the Dallas Cowboys.

Had the Cowboys defeated the Packers, the 49ers' opponent would have been completely in the air heading into Sunday night.

Instead, Green Bay opened up a 27-0 lead in the first half and allowed Shanahan to fully lock in on the seventh-seeded Packers as the 49ers' Divisional Round opponent.
