Kyle Larson was so close.
Through the second half of Sunday's AAA 400 at Dover International Speedway, Larson had a fast car and the talent to run past NASCAR veterans and battle for the lead.

In the end, though, it was veteran Matt Kenseth who held off the young star fighting for his first career Sprint Cup win. Instead, Larson settled for his fourth career runner-up finish.
With just a handful of laps to go, Larson looked to have the better car.
