Oh, that darned laser inspection: Five Sprint Cup teams ran afoul of it last weekend at Bristol, and the biggest penalty was handed to Kyle Busch.
As if Busch didn't have enough anger after Sunday. Now he will carry an inspection burden to Michigan for this week's race.
Also nabbed at the laser station were Martin Truex Jr., Ryan Newman, Denny Hamlin and Joey Logano.
Bristol marked the fourth warning for Busch and the Joe Gibbs Racing No. 18 team, coming after his car failed the laser test twice. As a result, Busch won't be allowed to select his pit stall this weekend and will be assigned one.
