Rookie linebacker Kwon Alexander has been a revelation for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but he is reportedly facing a four-game suspension following Sunday's contest against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Ira Kaufman and Roy Cummings of the Tampa Tribune were informed by a source that the suspension is related to the use of performance-enhancing drugs, and it is expected to be handed down Monday. ESPN's Adam Schefter later confirmed the impending ban.
According to Kaufman and Cummings, Alexander is believed to have tested positive for an illegal substance during training camp.
