Short-track racing always leads to plenty of fender banging and tempers flaring, but at Bristol Motor Speedway on Sunday, even the nicest Cup drivers were called names at the half-mile Tennessee track.
Just two races ago at another short track (Martinsville), A.J. Allmendinger was ecstatic just to finish ahead of Jimmie Johnson. But at the Food City 500 in Bristol, 'Dinger was not pleased with the contact he was receiving from the six-time NASCAR champion.
