Kings rookie Devin Carter sustains shoulder injury in loss to Magic

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Sacramento Kings rookie Devin Carter suffered a right shoulder injury on Saturday and was ruled out of returning in a 121-91 loss to the Orlando Magic.

Carter sustained the injury late in the second quarter after he appeared to jam his shoulder attempting to go for a steal against Magic forward Paolo Banchero. He was in immediate discomfort following the play and left the game for good, logging 32 seconds.

The 13th pick underwent further examination in the locker room with the team training staff upon leaving the game and wouldn't return to the bench in the second half.
