Late MMA fighter Kimbo Slice needed a heart transplant, according to a report by the medical examiner in Broward County, Fla.
Slice, whose real name was Kevin Ferguson, died Monday at Northwest Medical Center in Margate, Fla. He was admitted on June 3, according to The Sun Sentinel. The newspaper reported he was complaining of severe abdominal pain, shortness of breath and nausea.

A liver mass was discovered and Slice fell into congestive heart failure. He was then placed on a ventilator in the intensive care unit.
