From Jimmie Foxx to Reggie Jackson to the Bash Brothers and more, the A's have a rich history of some prodigious home run hitters. They haven't been all that powerful for a bit, though. Since Jason Giambi hit 43 home runs in 2000, the A's hadn't again seen a player reach 40 in a season.

Until now. Khris Davis hit two bombs in Arlington on Sunday to get to 40 on the season.
